Harry Johnson, Jr., 73, of Bunnell was born on September 23, 1945 in Lake City, FL to Harry and Luella Johnson. He later moved to Flagler - County and was educated in the Flagler County School District. Harry enjoyed driving trucks, and was employed by a trucking company for over 30 years. Harry also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by: Father: Harry Johnson, Sr.; Son: Joseph Lee Johnson; Sister: Vera Mae Fabin; Brothers: Jesse and Raymond Johnson; Grandson: Darius Giddens.

 

He leaves to cherish his memories:
Loving mother: Luella Johnson; Daughters: Angela Johnson, Lewanna Johnson (Arthor), Sonya Tiller (Kenneth), Harriet Johnson (Ernest), Katrina Ellison (Michael), Diana Johnson (Neil), Josephine Johnson, Adrena Washington (Benjamin), Latora Herring, Mary Moore and Tina Moore; Sons: Harry D. Johnson (Chassity), Ernest Christian (Audrey) and Tony Jones; Sisters: Era Jackson, Ossie Lee Cassells (Eric), Ida Mae Jordan (Calzin), Gloria Shovers and Ella Mae Johnson; Brothers: David Johnson (Rondy), Bobby Lee Johnson (Charlene), Oglesby Johnson, John Johnson, Leroy Johnson and Freddie Lee Johnson; 34 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; Special friends: Horace Williams, Edith Johnson and Jimmie Dean Porter; Godsister: Vivian Slater; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

The Homegoing Celebration will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Frank Giddens Sr., Pastor and Eulogist.  The Viewing will be 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2019 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will take place in Masonic Cemetery of Palm Coast.

    Our warmest sympathies goes to you and yours in these difficult moments. May you find strength from the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
