Mrs. Amanda L. Thompson, 82, of 1824 Arthur Collier Thompson Road, Bladenboro, NC, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, in Elizabethtown Nursing Center.  

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 17, at 3 PM, in the Center Missionary Baptist Church, Bladenboro, NC; officiated by Pastor Scott Johnson. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery.  

She is survived by daughters, Veronica Alexander, Monica Johnson, and Cynthia McKoy; a son, Jerry Thompson; sisters, Dorothy McCary and Lela Wells; brothers, Allen Singletary, Acie Singletary, Derry Singletary, and Phillip Malloy; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 16, from 1 until 6 o'clock with the family being present from 5-6 o'clock at the mortuary.
