My condolence to you, for you loss. my heart goes out to you. I’m praying for strength beyond normal, to comfort you and your family. God does Not cause death right now. "Time and unforeseen occurrences befall all." Ecclesiastes 9:11. The Devil does. Hebrews 2:14. Remember: "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done,on Earth, as it is in Heaven." Matthew 6:10; Daniel 2:44. You see it is a government that Jesus soon will rule as King. It will bring no more pain, no more sorrow, no more tears, no more death. Revelation 21:3-5. The dead will live again, here on Earth. Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:11, 29; Isaiah 26:19. Make sure you look up all the scripture to see this is all true. There is more. My sincerest condolences to the family. I was so fortunate to have known and have been a friend of Miss Holmes since 1988. We met in the halls of St Joseph Hospital- she kept the Orthopaedic Wing spotless, cared for the patients and everyone around her including me- a young physical therapy aide. She retired and we spoke frequently and unfortunately saw each other rarely. Regardless we had wonderful conversations over many years mostly about her mother and Gene. I know that the Lord, Gene and her Mother welcomed her with open arms and that those terrible knees no longer hurt now slow her down. I love you Miss Holmes and I thank you for being my friend.
