Mrs. Lucy Mae Johnson Zellars passed away peacefully at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at her residence. 

Lucy was born in Lincoln County on November 23, 1921 to Tim and Rebecca Johnson. 

Lucy was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Wade; her sisters, Eunice, Mary, and Grace; brothers, Jessie and Roy.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Billy (Yvonnzier) Zellars; daughters, Glenda Martin, Peggy (Ronald) Holiday and Phyllis (Bosye) Wynn; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from Saint Luke Baptist Church, 3130 Metasville Road Lincolnton, GA 30817, Reverend Alvin Rivers, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
