   George F. Walker, Sr,  was the son of Henry Clay and Mary W. Walker born March 30, 1937. He departed this life on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at his home.

George was previously employed at the Montgomery County Public Schools where he taught Auto Mechanic, and held several other employment position thru the years. He was an veteran of the Marine Corp. George was a member of The Mount of Olives Church/First Baptist, where he served on the Usher Board, member of the choir, and his favorite scripture was the 91st Psalm.

George later returned to Danville, Kentucky and was formally employed at Mercer Co. School System in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. 

Preceding him in death, his parents: Henry Clay and Mary W. Walker, six brothers and two sisters.

Cherishing his precious memories, his wife France Walker, Danville, KY; two daughters: Victoria Green, Gaithersburg, MD and Antoinette Walker, Germantown, MD; four sons: Carroll Walker, Rockville MD, George Walker, Jr. (Sheryl), Urbana, MD, Kevin Walker, Germantown, MD and Julius Walker, Rockville, MD; two sisters, Lonnie Sue Smith, Danville, KY and Mary Joyce Dunn, Harrodsburg, KY; twenty-two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, numerous cousins and friends.
