Gregg G. Bencomo, 80, went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2019. Gregg was born October 20, 1938 to Gregorio and Elvira Bencomo in Arrey, NM, where he lived the rest of his years. Gregg was a veteran of the Army National Guard and a member of the FOE Eagles of Arrey. Gregg was a humble, honest and sincere man, who raised his family with the same virtues. Gregg was preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Elvira Bencomo; siblings: Emidio, Lucia, Isaac and Amalia; and his wife M. Elva Bencomo. He is survived by his children: Raymond G. Bencomo and wife, Mary, Gabriel A. Bencomo and wife, Vanessa, and Amanda B. Cardona and husband, Serjio; grandchildren: Deanne, Victoria, Monica, Santana, Adrian, Yolanda and Logan; great-grandchildren:  Roman, Miya, Alexandria and Lionel; siblings: Celso Bencomo, Emma Vega, Genoveva Trujillo and Elvira Tafoya. Services for Mr. Bencomo will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at San Jose Mission in Arrey, with a Rosary led by Steve Bouvet starting at 9:30 A.M. and a Funeral Mass officiated by Rev. Bartholomew Ezenwelem at 10:30 A.M. Serving as casket bearers will be James Vega, Albert Trujillo, Eli Trujillo, Gabriel Bencomo, Raymond Bencomo, and Adrian Bencomo. We're sorry to hear about your recent loss. Accept our sincere condolences. May you find strength from the words of Philippians 4:13 which says: "For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
