Shauna Lynnette Cowherd McDonald, 31, of Louisville died Thursday at Norton Audubon Hospital.  She was employed by LG&E and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. (Alpha Rho Chapter-Northern, Kentucky). Survivors her husband DaRon McDonald, parents Michael & Latosha Cowherd, grandparents Joseph & Barbara Cowherd, brothers M. Justin Cowherd and Devon Cowherd, stepdaughter, Raya McDonald. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 at Community Missionary Baptist Church 4909 E. Indian Trail.  Funeral Thursday 11 at the church.   Burial Calvary Cemetery.  W.T. Shumake & Daughters Funeral Home in charge.

    Our warmest sympathies goes to you and yours in these difficult moments. May you find strength from the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
