I would like to express my sympathy in the loss of your dear family member. The death of a loved one is one of the most painful events that can happen. Our loving heavenly father understand how you feel because death was not a part of his original purpose for mankind (Genesis 1:28). However, he provides comfort to help soothe the feelings of sadness and grief. Psalm 147:3 says; He (God) heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds. The wonderful promise for the future at Revelation 21:4 is very comforting. It says; He (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. For more comfort please visit our website: jw.org and view the faith strengthening video; Is There Hope for the Dead? Click publications then videos.

We're sorry to hear about your recent loss. Accept our sincere condolences. May you find strength from the words of Philippians 4:13 which says: "For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
