Dear Barbee family. I am very sorry to have read of the recent death of your loved one, James. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be very comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and also at Revelation 21:3-5. These verses tell us thatmsoon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones, as well as do away with all of the many causes we have for suffering, including sickness, pain and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will likewise comfort your family and will also ease some of your pain during this most difficult time in your lives.

It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. (Please read) May God give you and your family comfort in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they are resurrected. With deepest sympathy and warmth of heart. Additional Bible based comfort can be found at jw.org Search:Comfort.

To the Barbee Family, Our prayers went out for comfort for you and the family when we heard of the passing of Dillard. There is no sorrow and pain that heaven cannot heal. As you go through your time of mourning and laughter, think of the words of the Chief Praiser, David, “weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning”. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid, John 14:26. We are praying God’s mercies to you all during this season of mourning. Love, Anna (Beard) and Sam Taylor

We're sorry to hear about your recent loss. Accept our sincere condolences. May you find strength from the words of Philippians 4:13 which says: "For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
