I wanted to express my deepest sympathies to the Hill family. I am so sorry for your loss. It's no way to really describe the pain one feels when death overtakes a loved one. Feelings of sadness and grief can be overwhelming during this time of mourning. However, comfort from the scriptures can give you hope. John 5:28,29 speaks of the promise of the resurrection. That scripture says, "Do not be amazed at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for your family is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones. To family and friends my deepest sympathies to you for the loss of your love one. Losing a loved one in death is very painful. Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) promise that he will resurrect millions of people who have died. "And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 26:19 "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous." These are the words of Jesus Christ at John 5:28,29. May the God of all comfort and tender mercies sustain you at this difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 Learn more about the resurrection hope and how Jesus is going to make God's wonderful promises come true at www.jw.org.

Please take comfort in the knowledge that God hates death, and promises to eliminate it forever. “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.”—1 Corinthians 15:26. Your loved one can live again thru the resurrection - Job 14:14,15. Find further encouragement in the article www.jw.org/is-death-the-end/
