Marvin Lee Swann Sr.,87, died Dec. 7, 2018 in Danville, Ky. after a long illness.  He was a Deacon of First Baptist Danville and had a strong work ethic to support his family.  He was a member of Danville Yankee baseball team, which was part of the Negro League.  

He leaves to cherish his memory a current wife Eleanor Swann, 5 children: Carol Woods, Patricia Harris, Michaelene Swann James (Wil), Marvin Swann, Jr. (Becky), Larry Swann (Joann), sister Mayme Davis,brother George Cowan, 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives as well as extended family.
