Ms.Judy Swain,70, of Gadsden  
Mrs.Judy Lee Brasher Swain was born to the union of the late Mr. Charlie Brasher and Mrs. Rosie Lollar Brasher on March 23, 1942 in Wilsonville, Al.
Mrs Judy Swain moved to Gadsden, Al at an early age where she met and married Mr. James (Bobby) Swain.She confessed to Christ and United with the Shiloh Baptist Church.She attended Shelby County High School in Columbia, Al.She also entered the nursing program at Gadsden State Community College.She was also a member of the Champagne Social Club for many years.
On November 29, 2018, Mrs. Judy Swain was called home to a better place where there is no more pain and suffering.
Mrs. Judy Swain is preceded in death by her parents Mr. Charlie and Rosie Brasher; Her husband James (Bobby) Swain; Two sisters Lurleen Flamboand Una Mae Jordan of Gadsden, Al; Two brothers Jim Brasher of Buffalo, NY; and Walter Brasher of Columbiana, Al. Mrs. Swain leaves to cherish her memories,; One Daughter Carlin (Rodney) Johnson of Gadsden, Al.
Public visitation for Mrs. Judy Lee Brasher Swain will be from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Friday December 7,2018 at West Gadsden Funeral Home
She leaves to cherish:One Daughter; Carlin (Rodney) Johnson of Gadsden, Al. One brother; Steve (Jan) Brasher of Wilsonville, Al; One Sister; Vickie Brasher of Okolona, Ms. Four Grandchildren; Jalen (Alexis) Swain, Eriunna Johnson, kierre Johnson, and Rodney Johnson all of Gadsden, Al. Also a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.

    I loved this very special lady!! I visited with her at McGuffey Nursing home over 10 years. We were very close friends and a big part of my life. I will miss her but I know she is with Jesus and I will see her again.
