My deepest condolences to the Jefferson family. No words can adequately describe Andrew's life. Andrew was a friend, a co-worker and a leader. He was so excited to represent his district as a commissioner when he retired from Augusta Tech and we were all very proud when he was elected. He was a voice of reason on the Commission willing to see both sides of an issue. Affectionately known to all of his Augusta Tech friends as "Augusta Tech After Dark", we feel a huge loss but we are better off having known and worked with such a fine gentleman for so many years. Respectfully, Beverly Barshafsky Peltier

I just wanted to say that Drew was a great individual that cared about his community and the students he taught at Augusta Technical College. Everybody learned something from him, I learned patience and hard work.

To the Jefferson family, Words cannot express how you must feel after losing someone so dear and loved but comfort comes when we look to the one who comforts all of us, our Heavenly Father. He will comfort and strengthen you until the fulfillment of his promise at John 5:28, 29 of resurrecting those who have fallen asleep in death.

So sorry for your loss. Many thoughts will go through your mind and heart in the coming days and weeks and may seem overbearing. But remember our creator lost his son to death and he knows how you feel now. You will never be alone. Just as Jehovah God brought his son, Jesus Chirst back to life he promises to do the same for your loved one and billions more in the near future. (Revelation 21:4,5) Remember he loves you. Please accept my deepest condolences. jw.org website for more encouragement..
