Funeral services for Brenda Diane Hardy, 62, will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Kingston Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.  Ms. Hardy will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.

Brenda Diane Hardy was born on September 16, 1956 in Talladega County, Alabama to the late Herman Hardy and the late Arie Garrett Hardy. 

Ms. Hardy confessed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with Kingston Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a member until her passing. She was a member of the Cheerful Givers. Brenda received her education at R. R. Moton. She was employed with Talladega Healthcare Center as a certified nursing assistant for a number of years.

On Saturday, October 27, 2018, Brenda received her call to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Arie Hardy; and her long-time companion, Robert Kennedy. 

Brenda leaves to mourn her passing her loving son, Tyrone (Leslie) Hardy of Alpine, Alabama; three grandchildren, Tyeshia Henry, Tyrone Hardy, Jr. and Miracle Hardy; one great grandson, Khristian Henry; seven sisters, Rubertha (Terry) Kelly, Teresa Hardy, Cynthia (James) Bush of Alpine, Alabama, Vickie (Jesse) Hawkins of Birmingham, Alabama, Gwendolyn (Michael) Garrett and Vivian Scott of Alpine, Alabama and Mary (Lacey) Wilson of Ashland, Alabama;  three brothers, Herman Hardy, Jr., Warner Hardy and Luransa (Yolanda) Hardy of Alpine, Alabama; one Godson, Michael Garrett, Jr. of Alpine, Alabama; two special nieces, Schraunda Scott and LaTasha (Willie) White of Alpine, Alabama; a special nephew, Rontavius Scott of Alpine, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
