Mrs. Georgia Ella Richardson , age 78,  was born on July 13, 1940 in Rome, Georgia to Leila M. Word and William E. Fielder Sr.
Upon graduation from Main High School in 1959, She moved to Great Neck, New York.  She worked at American Express, in New York for over 20 years.  She was later employed at Biscuit Bucket in Rome.  As a child, she was a member of Saint Paul A.M.E. Church. As a young adult, she attended Saint Paul A.M.E. Zion Church in New York. Georgia Ella Richardson was united in holy matrimony to Henry N Richardson on September 10, 1966 and through this union was born a daughter, Yvette Richardson.

She was preceded in death by both of her fathers; William E. Fielder Sr. and Andrew “Daddy Jack” Word; mother, Leila M. Word; sisters, Clara M. Bullock, Shirley E. Murray; grandson, Darian N Richardson.

Georgia Ella Richardson transitioned from this life on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. She leaves to cherish fond memories, a daughter; Yvette (Kenric King) Richardson of Rome, Georgia; two sisters, Rebecca Ellis, both of Rome, GA; Jessie (George) Bryant Sr. of Inkster, MI; one brother, William (Alma) Fielder Jr. of Westland, MI; three grandchildren, Cameron, Roderic King, Alicia Morgan, one great granddaughter, Kamryn  and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and close friends.

Service for Mrs. Georgia Ella Richardson will be Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 1 pm at F. K. Jones Funeral Home in Peek Chapel. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 12 noon until the funeral hour. We trust you will keep the family lifted in prayer.
