Ozella Garrett passed away October 6, 2018.  She was a member of Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Granville and Beatrice Austin. Survivors include her children, Tommy (Arnetta) Garrett, Jr. and Barbara (John) Jennings; grandchildren, Pebbles Caldwell, Marcus (Kristal) Smith, Jason Jennings, Anthony Garrett, Tommy Garrett, III, Jenitha Hodge, and Danielle Carter; thirteen great-grandchildren.  The body will lie in state at 9am Saturday, October 13, 2018 and the funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel with Pastor Ternae Jordan officiating.  Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery. Arrangements by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995
