Mr. Bobby Ray Glenn was born October 28, 1954 in Gaston County and departed this life Saturday, September 29, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late George and Mary Lee Cook Glenn.

Bobby attended school in Gaston County and graduated from Hunter Huss High School. He worked at Community Cash (now Piggly Wiggly) in Clover, SC as a meat cutter before moving on to Clover District Schools where he was a school custodian and retired in 2017. He was an avid Bowler and belonged to many Bowling leagues at Liberty Lanes in Gastonia, North Carolina. Bobby loved traveling with his bowling teams visiting many cities. He also worked part time in the snack bar at Liberty Lanes.

He was preceded in death by his twin sisters: Hazeline Floyd and Margie G. Smith and brother: Harvey Andrew Miller.

He leaves to cherish his memories three sisters: Margaret Ann Glenn, Gloria Glenn and Rosa Glenn all of Gastonia, North Carolina; one sister-in-law: Emma Cook of Gastonia, North Carolina; two aunts: Maggie Sue Frierson of Gastonia, North Carolina and Rosie Sherer of Clover, South Carolina; although he had no children, he was a father figure to all of his nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing only: Saturday; October 6, 2018; 3:00 until 8:00 p.m.; Gregory Funeral Service Chapel-601 N. York Street, Gastonia

Memorial Service: Sunday; October 7, 2018; 3:00 p.m.; Gregory Funeral Service Chapel-601 N. York Street, Gastonia
