The funeral services for the late Mr. Shawn Dewayne Brown of 709 N. Jefferson St., Sylvester, Georgia, who departed this life on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his residence, will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Pinson United Methodist Church at 109 East Pope Street, Sylvester, Georgia with the Reverend Terrell Carter officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shepard Memorial Garden Cemetery in Sylvester, Georgia.  Shawn DeWayne Brown was born on January 5, 1979 in Sylvester, Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. Wayne and Fuenita Mulkey Brown.  He was educated in the Worth County Public School System and graduated from Worth County High School in 1999.  Shawn worked as a driver and delivery person for Coca Cola Bottling for four years.  He was also a member of Green Mountain Lodge #130, Sylvester, Georgia. Shawn gave up this busy walk of life on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his home. His grandparents and a niece, Jah'Leya, all preceded him in death.  He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Wayne and Fuenita Brown; his children, Iyunna (mother, Shakarra Brown), and Elijah (mother, Sheneeka Robinson); his brothers, Brian (Jocelyn) Brown of Tampa, Florida, Corey (Tisa) Brown of Hinesville, Georgia; his sisters, Angela (Leon) Sears, Synetha Brown, Adraian (Jamaine) Brown, Wayneshia Brown, Wayneia Brown, all of Sylvester, Georgia; seven aunts, six uncles, 5 nieces, seven nephews, two great aunts, and a host of friends who loved him dearly.

    Ms. Fanita, I am so sorry to hear of Shawn’s passing. I didn’t know him well but he was always so nice when he would come in Fat Boy’s. Praying for you and your family.
