Dear Sims family, you have my utmost sympathies. The death of a loved one causes deep pain. There is no feeling like it. But soon that grief will be replaced with joy. At Jeremiah 31:13, Almighty God has promised, "I will change their mourning into exultation. I will comfort them and give them joy instead of their grief." No doubt you look forward to the fulfillment of that promise. Until then, you can fully rely on "the God of tender mercies and the God of all comfort" to give you the strength and endurance to cope during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3)

So sorry for your loss. God promises to end sickness and death permanently. His promise is no mere dream. In fact, his word the bible shows that Jesus performed miracles by curing sick ones and resurrecting those who died. He did this to show what he would do on a grander scale according to God's promises. Promises that will be fulfilled because it is impossible for God to lie. (John 5:28 & 29, Isaiah 33:24, Acts 24:15) To learn more visit:

Our warmest sympathies goes to you and yours in these difficult moments. May you find strength from the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
