Mrs. Ruth Ann Peters was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.  She was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Griffin.

She was a 1974 graduate of Danville High School and was a faithful member of First Baptist Danville. Ruth Ann retired from Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Ruth Ann is survived by her husband Michael Peters; three children, Brandy (Keith) Murray, Michelle (Juan) Campos and Michael Peters; five grandchildren Gabby, Cameron, Aubrey, Mylan and Allison; five siblings, James Henry (Ann) Griffin, Eartha (James) Singleton, Tony (Jean) Griffin, Joey (Vicki) Griffin and Mary “Missy” Griffin; three aunts, Emma Patton, Edith Miller and Hattie Claybrooks;  a sister-in-law Betty Overstreet; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

    I always spoke with Ruth Ann over the years through scheduling. At least 25 years. She was a wonderful person. I am proud to call her my friend. Prayers to her family for strength. Gone way to early.
