Funeral services for Mr. Tommy Gene "Big Klu" Johnson will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at the Friendship Baptist Church, Elder Dion Hill officiating. West Gadsden Funeral Home is directing. Family hour is 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.

He is survived by one brother: Kenneth Wayne Johnson; ex-wife: Gwendolyn Hill Johnson; three sons: Kevin Johnson (Natasha), Roderick Johnson (Patrice) and Brian Johnson (Shareeka); two daughters: Alicia Miller Holmes and Kimberly Johnson.

He was blessed with eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren plus a host of loving relatives, friends, classmates, coworkers and the entire Gadsden community.

May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 46:1 which reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
