My condolences and prayers to the family. I'm going to miss that smile and you singing your favorite song in church "Have to go by myself". You have gained your wings so you can keep singing for the Lord. 🙏🙏🙏

Mother Geraldine, You were just a young girl when you brought me into this world, which was a different place back then. Sometimes life can present itself in one way when other factors are in place. But I always believe that God has His reasons for everything. It all depends on one's perspective. Although we were miles apart, I'm so thankful to have had the chance to know, grow and to love you; for you gave me life. For those times that we were able to share, laugh and discuss life, I'm grateful. In between the laughter you were always encouraging me, telling me "You can make it!" and I'm grateful. I knew you to be a generous soul with a big heart to go with that big smile. You loved to sing... and according to Cory, you made the best baked beans "with the hamburger in it." Always wanting the best for all your family, you LOVED your children, grandchildren and family unconditionally. You loved people, unconditionally. However, even from a young girl, it was common knowledge that EVERYONE knew not to mess with Geraldine. You were a strong fighter, not only in the streets but in life. To the family.. her strength..this is your heritage... to be strong, take life as it comes, (the good and the bad) and do what you gotta do to get through it. When the good comes..look to God and give thanks. When the bad comes..look to God..and still give thanks; He'll go with you, and bring you though and out of it all. He knows how to use EVERY situation good or bad to work for the good. Believe me I've seen Him do it. God sees all and knows all. There is a time to fight and a time to rest from fighting. To Rhonda, Run Jon, the family and all who right there in the storm with her. If you stopped by or made a phone call..God saw it. When you brought her a glass of water, God saw it. If you wiped sweat from her head, God saw it. When you sat for hours with her at the bedside ..God saw it. All the "not so easy times," God saw it. When at times, pain would take control and speak to you instead of her, you allowed LOVE to become stronger than words...God saw it. Even if you were only able to say a prayer...God heard it.....When all you could do is exhale but kept it moving...Yes God saw it and He takes in account for every benevolent work, care and love you've sown. benevolence, care and love. not just with words but with action..and now God is saying.."I GOT THIS NOW..AND I'VE GOT HER..AND THE HONOR THAT YOU'VE GIVEN HER IS ACCEPTABLE." So I say to family, friends and loved ones..."Be encouraged." And always remember Matthew 18:18 says that "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." With all my love...Robbin
