John Patterson, Jr., 60 husband of Carolyn Mellerson Patterson, died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland, Columbia, SC.  He was born January 8, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late John W. Patterson and Montrene Ragin Patterson.

Funeral services for Mr. Patterson will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September, 6, 2018 at True Word Baptist Church, Paxville, SC, Pastor Robert Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the church yard cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at his residence, 1827 Boyd Road, Manning, SC.
