Robert  Dingle, Jr.  (affectionately known as Pee Wee) died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Lake Marion Nursing Center in Summerton, SC. Born April 5, 1952, he was the son of the late Robert Dingle, Sr and Carrie Lee Nelson Dingle.  

Robert attended the public schools of Clarendon County.   He was a skilled Horticulturist.  A profession which he enjoyed until his untimely illness.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving children, Felicia Dingle and Robert Dingle III.  Three grandchildren.   Three devoted brothers John Dingle, William (Marrietta) Dingle and Anthony (Kiren) Dingle.   Six sisters Annie Dingle, Mattie Mouzon,  Shirley Hughes, Bertha (Jonathan) Smith,  Eartha Dingle, and Ruthie (Anthony) Shelton.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Dingle will be held 3:00PM on Monday, July 30, 2018 at St. Matthews AME Church with the Rev. Benjamin Dwight officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

A public viewing will be held on from 4pm-7pm on Sunday at Samuel's Funeral Home.

The family is receiving friends at the homestead of the late Robert Lee and Carrie Nelson Dingle, Sr., 1990 William Brunson Road, Summerton, SC beginning Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 4PM til 9PM daily.

    We're sorry to hear about your recent loss. May you find strength from the words of Philippians 4:13 which says: "For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
