I want to send my love and sympathies to the Rankin family. I'm very sorry for your loss. It's no way to really describe the pain one feels when death overtakes a loved one. Feelings of sadness and grief can be overwhelming during this time of mourning. However, comfort from the scriptures can give you hope. John 5:28, 29 speaks of the promise of the resurrection. That scripture says, "Do not be amazed at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for your family is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones.

I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to your family and friends.Death is the worse enemy we all have in common and soon one day it will be brought to nothing and this is recorded at 1 Corinthians 15:26 and not only will death be done with but you will get to see your loved one again and never be taken away from them (John 5:28,29)and this is by a Government that will never be interrupted God’s Kingdom the one Jesus spoke about at Matthew 6:10 so many blessings will come from this Kingdom including the release of death. When you visit JW.org there you can learn more about this Kingdom and how it will affect you and your family and how you can see all those you lost again !!

We're so sorry you are mourning the loss of your dear loved one. Not much can soothe the pain this sorrow brings, but we hope the words of Psalms 34:18 can help some. It reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” We can rely on our loving God to provide comfort in these troublesome times. He also has made the Surprise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise! (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29). This is Sure to come because everything God says, he does without fail (Isaiah 55:11). Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG

I am very sorry for your loss. May the love of family, friends, and Almighty God bring you comfort and support during your time of grief and afterward. (Ps. 83:18; Isaiah 41:10) May the hope of a resurrection on a restored earth bring you peace. (Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:11, 29)
