I send my sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Corbett. It has to be a beautiful thing to have someone so special in your life to live over a century. She was blessed by our Creator because she was very special in His eyes. Psalm 90:10 tells us that our life span is 70 or 80 years. She surpassed that. But know that she is only sleeping and she is definitely in the memory of Jehovah God. When He calls, she will answer and join her beloved family again. Please visit JW.ORG to learn more about our love ones when they fall asleep in death.

We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG.

We're so sorry you are mourning the loss of your dear loved one. Not much can soothe the pain this sorrow brings, but we hope the words of Psalms 34:18 can help some. It reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” We can rely on our loving God to provide comfort in these troublesome times. He also has made the sure promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise! (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29). This is Sure to come because everything God says, he does without fail (Isaiah 55:11). Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG
