Willie Alexander, Jr.  (Turnip Green) passed away at the Alive Hospice of Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 71.  He was born in Williamson County, Tennessee to the parents of  the late Willie and Thelma Kennedy Alexander.                                        

Willie leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Lisa A. McLemore; granddaughter, Danica L. McLemore; sisters, Lucille Alexander and Alma McLemore; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Mr. Alexander will lie in state on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 10 until 5 at the funeral home.

Visitation with family Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 11 until 12 at 4th Avenue Church of Christ, 117 4th Ave North with funeral to follow. Brother Nathaniel Grimes Sr., officiating. Interment Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

    We're so sorry you are mourning the loss of your dear loved one. Not much can soothe the pain this sorrow brings, but we hope the words of Psalms 34:18 can help some. It reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” We can rely on our loving God to provide comfort in these troublesome times. He also has made the Surprise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise! (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29).
