Darrell James, 47, died July 11, 2018 at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, GA.  He was born September 8, 1970 in Summerton, SC, a son of  Betty McDonald McGregor and the late Charles James.

Funeral services for Mr. James will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St., Manning, SC. Burial will follow in Briggs Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Davis Station, SC.

The family will receive friends beginning Monday, July 16th at the home of his mother, 1100 K.W. Hodge Road, Manning, SC.

    We're sorry to hear about your recent loss. May you find strength from the words of Philippians 4:13 which says: "For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
