Ms. Lucille Johnson Mitchell, 99, of Leesburg, Georgia departed this life Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. from the Mt. Hope Baptist Church, 117 Graves Springs Road, Leesburg, Georgia. Rev. David Lockett is the pastor and will provide the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Her  remains will lie in state at the church Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour. The family will receive relatives and friends at 498 Middle Road North, Leesburg, Georgia.

    We're so sorry you are mourning the loss of your dear loved one. Not much can soothe the pain this sorrow brings, but we hope the words of Psalms 34:18 can help some. It reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” We can rely on our loving God to provide comfort in these troublesome times. He also has made the Surprise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise! (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29).
