Elease "Big Cooter" Moses Davis, 68, widow of Barbie Lee Davis, died Friday, July 6, 2018 at her residence, 6101 Loch Raven Blvd., Baltimore, MD.  She was born March 18, 1950 in Alcolu, SC, a daughter of the late Anthony Peter Moses and Dora Johnson Moses.

Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be  held 11:00AM  Saturday, July 14th at Green Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1260 Green Hill Church Road, Alcolu, SC.   Rev. Delbert H. Singleton, Jr., Pastor, officiating; Rev. William J. Frierson, Sr., presiding; Rev. Delaney K. Frierson and Minister Sylvia Whitaker, assisting.  Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.

The family is receiving friends beginning Monday, July 9th at the family home, 1228 Cooter Creek Road, Alcolu, SC.

    We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29).
