Ms. Leila Franklin, 65, of Albany, Georgia departed this life Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. from Berachah Fellowship Church, 1719 Cordele Road, Albany, Georgia. Rev. Ronald Smith is the pastor and Rev. H.C. Wilson will provide the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Highway 195, Leesburg, Georgia. Her remains will lie in state at the church Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until the service hour. The family will receive relatives and friends at 1808 Acker Drive, Albany, Georgia.

    We're sorry to hear about your recent loss. May you find strength from the words of Philippians 4:13 which says: "For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
