John “Johnny” Albert Miranda, Jr., 40, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 12, 2018.

He was a caring person that loved his family and the Lord.  He believed in being kind and caring to all of God’s children; especially the poor, blind, lame and mentally ill.  He was generous and would give all he had to those he loved and to those in need.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Owings and brother Mickey.  He is survived by his Father, John C. Miranda and his stepmother, Margie; along with his stepsister, Tiffany Tarr; his grandparents, Chris and Dora Miranda; along with several aunts and uncles; Yvonne and Sam Henderson, Ronald and Linda Miranda, Connie and Michael Lopez, Richard and Elaine Miranda, Stanley Miranda, Frank and Tammy Miranda and Doraine and Harold Messias.  Along with several cousins and many extended family members. He was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend and follower of Christ.  We are rejoicing his return to our Father in Heaven all the while we mourn his passing.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Kirikos Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Vista Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Our warmest sympathies goes to you and yours in these difficult moments. May you find strength from the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
