Floretta Parker Brown was born on July 21, 1932 in Wayne County, Detroit, Michigan to the late George Parker and the late Maggie Parker. She was educated at Northeastern High School and Lewis Business College. Floretta accepted Christ into her life at a very young age. She was a member of the choir and on the usher board. She also enjoyed baking and cooking.

She is proceeded in death by her parents: George and Maggie Parker; her brothers: George (Gene) Parker, Edwin Parker; her sister: Gertrude Durham; and her son: Stanley Jerome Brown.

Her love is left to be cherished by her daughter: Deborah Hobley; her sisters: Annis Haris and Gracie Lawson; her grandchildren: Sean (Wanda) Carpenter, Markina (Delante) Harris, Marc Carpenter, Alan (Mandy) Sledge, Dana Hobley; great-grandchild: Eric Carpenter; Special Friend: Sandra Foster; and a hosts of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Service for Mrs. Brown will be Saturday, June 23, 2018  at 10:00 am at Revelation Church of Holiness  (8654 Mack Avenue, Detroit, MI 48214 ).  

F. K. Jones Funeral Home was entrusted with the Care and Direction while Mrs. Brown was in Georgia.
