Mr. Richard Gibbs, 50, of Roseboro, NC, passed away on Thursday May 17, 2018.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at 2pm, at Summerville-Boykin Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Anthony Whitted officiating.  Burial will follow in Garland Community Cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Ivery M. Gibbs, Clinton, NC; sisters, Margie Highsmith, Ivanhoe, NC and Andrea Underwood, Garland, NC; brothers, Charlie Gibbs, Johnny Gibbs, Earnest Gibbs and Eric Gibbs, all of Garland, NC.

A viewing will be Tuesday, May 22, 2018, from 2pm until 7pm, at the mortuary.
