Mrs. Billie Jean Reviere Walker was born to Mrs. Johnnie Mae Drake Reviere and Mr. Billy Tommy Reviere on April 28, 1974, in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. At an early age, she joined the New Hope Baptist Church in Talbotton, GA, where she sang in the choir. She attended school in the Upson County School System and attended Upson-Lee High School.

When she reached young adulthood she found employment at Perless Mills. She was the mother of one daughter, Sonija Walker. To help support her daughter, she found employment at Standard Textiles and Reddi Pack. She was devoted to two of her cousins, Emil and Rudy, whom she helped raise.

During her leisure time, she enjoyed going to church, singing in the choir, listening to music, and visiting with her cousins and friends.

On Wednesday, May 9, 2018, the Lord called her name. She answered the call and went home to be with the Lord. Her sudden departure has saddened the hearts of her family and friends, but the memory will live on in their hearts.

It saddens us to know you are mourning the loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 34:18. It reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). What a joy it will be to welcome back to life your loved ones who are asleep in death!! You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
