Mr. Darin Gray more affectionately known as “Pap,” was born on September 8, 1955 to the late Mrs. Donnie Mae Blair and the late Mr. John Henry Gray in Clearwater , FL. He was raised by his grandparents the late Mrs. Addie Turner and the late Mr. James Turner. He grew up in the community of Lincoln Parl. At an early age he joined the New Hope Baptist Church in Talbotton, GA and was baptize there.

He attended Upson High School where he played football and was a good player. He was the father of one son, Keyvius and the grandfather of one grandson , Jaquez.

To help to support his family he was employed with Mr. Guy Carpenter. He was an dependable and loyal employee. Pap enjoyed fellowshipping with his friends and neighbors. If he could help anyone he would do what he could. He  had a good heart and didn’t mind working. He was a diehard Falcon fan and also enjoyed fishing.

On Saturday, April 28, 2018 the Lord call his name, he answered and went home to rest. His sudden departure has saddened the hearts of his family and friends but his memory will live on.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Keyvius Gray; one grandson, Jaquez Dubinion; and a devoted friend Ms. Shirley Chaney; three sisters, Ms. Addie Mae Gray, Ms. Viola Robinson, and his twin sister Karen (Fred) Webb; three brothers; Mr. John Henry (Faye) Gray, Jr., Mr. Todd Gray and Mr. Elliott James Gray all of Thomaston, GA. A devoted friend and caring neighbor, Ms. Gloria “Molly,” Gray of Thomaston, GA. A host of  nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends
