Obituary

For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed,

Mr. Willie Lee Brantley, was born on March 1, 1953 to the parentage of the late Mr. L.T. Hicks and the late Ms. Fannie Brantley in Forsyth , Monroe County, GA. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, April 15,2018.

Willie was educated in the Monroe County School System and graduated with the Class of 1972. He worked  many years at the Bibb Manufacturing Company in Forsyth , GA; Dundee Mills in Griffin, GA; and at several jobs in the McDonough, GA area. He was well known for his sense of humor and his love for dancing and having an enjoyable time. He possessed a very giving heart and would help anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Rosa A. Brantley; children, Eric Brantley, Johnny Caslin (Patricia) , and Lisa Caslin (Hillmon); siblings, Harry Grier (Martha), Jimmy Brantley (Cassandra), Andrew Robinson (shalalai), and Anthony Robinson (Priscilla); sister-in-law, Willie Mae Scott, Mildredd Haygood, (Walter) Hildred Haygood (Frank), and Ida Bell Penamon (David);  ten grandchildren; an aunt , Lizzie Howard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

    We're sorry to hear about your recent loss. May you find strength from the words of Philippians 4:13 which says: "For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
