Funeral Services for Mr. Lee E. Bolden age 67 of Dekalb, MS were held Saturday July 1, 2017 at 1:00 pm. at Beulah MB Church in Dekalb.

Officiating Minister: Rev. Samuel Tisdale

Interment:  Beulah MB Church Cemetery.

Lee Earnest Bolden was born Saturday, November 12, 1949 to Lee Artis Bolden and Alma Jean Mosley Bolden in DeKalb, Kemper County, MS.

He was a graduate of Whisenton High School in DeKalb, MS.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Elma Hazel Welch, the daughter of Mike Welch and Agnes Scott Welch, who is also a native of DeKalb, Kemper County, MS.  One child, a daughter, was born to their union.

He departed this life on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Lauderdale County, MS at the age of 67.

His father, Lee Artis Bolden; sister-in-law, Helen McCallum Bolden; paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents, Franklin Cleveland "Cleve" Mosley and Lena McClelland Mosley; aunts, Ursular Mosley Jennings, Lena Mae Mosley, Mamie Sue Mosley, and Annie Ruth Mosley Johnson; and uncle, Wilbert Mosley, preceded him in death.

Survivors are:  one child-a daughter, Staci Bolden of DeKalb, MS; one grandchild-a granddaughter, Jada Brown of DeKalb, MS; mother, Alma Jean Mosley Bolden of DeKalb, MS; four siblings-three sisters, Bobbie Jean Bolden, Josephine Bolden Moore, and Ruthie Morton, all of DeKalb, MS; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles Bolden (Cherie) of Collinsville, MS: eight nieces and four nephews, Sandra Peeples (Lee), Alisha Griffin, Carey Odom, Frankie Odom (Pam), Tonisha Eades (Anthony), T'Niyah "Dollar Bill" Morton, Prentice Bolden (LaToya), Charles Bolden, Jr., Tina Bolden, Cathy Bolden, Priscilla Bolden, and Mikal Bolden; an uncle, Randolph Johnson of DeKalb, MS; a special friend, Helen Stephenson of Philadelphia, MS; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
