Jamie Lavar Jackson age 41

of 131 Hillcrest Drive Lincolnton, North Carolina

transitioned on Sunday, December 15, 2019 in Lincoln County, North Carolina.

He was born in Lincoln County, North Carolina on October 23, 1978 to

Jimmie Jackson and Patsy Diamond Jackson.

He graduated from Lincolnton High School.  He was a United States Army Veteran having served from 1998 until 2002.

He was employed as a Deputy with the Lincoln County Sheriff Department.  He worked there part time in May 2013, he became full time in June 2013, he joined the SWAT in October 2013, promoted to Narcotics in September 2014, he left the LCSD and started with Catawba County in October 2016 and stayed part time with Lincoln County, he came back full time with Lincoln County in January 2019.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Covenant Bible Church with burial to follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
