Mrs. Lillie M. Johnson, 79, of Philadelphia, Mississippi, passed on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the Neshoba County Hospital, Philadelphia. Funeral Service will be Sunday, August 12, 2018, at 2 p.m., from Jerusalem Temple, with Burial in the Donald Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, from 3 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson, will be placed in the Church on Sunday, one half hour before service time. Beck Funeral Home of Philadelphia in charge of arrangements.

    We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29).
