Mr. Batha Jones transitioned from this life on April 5, 2019. A wake will be held for him from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Woodard Funeral Home Chapel. His graveside service will be held 11:00AM on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Lakeview Memorial Park. Woodard Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

I would like to express my condolences and hope in the loss of your dear loved one The bible gives us hope of seeing them again in the promised resurrection to come according to [John 5:28-29] and [Acts 24:15]. We find further hope in scriptures like [Isaiah 25:8] and [Revelations 21:3-5] which says in part that Jehovah God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, because God will swallow up death forever. I hope these scriptures will be of some comfort.

We can look forward to the day when there will be no more sickness and death. Revelation 21:4 says: "And he [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." God cares for the brokenhearted; Psalm 34:18 assures us that he is close to them. Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! We're so sorry to hear you are mourning the recent loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 46:1 which reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress."
Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us.
