Elaine, My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. We talked a while back about your mama and what a wonderful Christian woman of faith she was. I know it is a time for sadness but, a time of celebrating because she is in a far better place than we can only imagine. Never lose your joy in Christ because his word tells us we will one day meet again. I love you my Christian sister and I am praying for your family.

Rest in peace Mrs. Billie. Thank you for letting me into your home as a child. My favorite memories of you were when wrestling would come on and you would get excited and tell us to be quiet.

Elaine, Jill, and Teal, I remember your sweet mom from my Belk Dept Store days starting in 1989...she was a rare jewel who I loved working with for so many years. We often said that my Momma raised till I was 16 and then Belk took over and she was one of the ones that raised me. I send heartfelt condolences and prayers to you all during this difficult time. May God bring you all strength and peace in the days ahead.

We're so sorry to hear you are suffering the loss of your dear loved one. May you find strength and some comfort in the words found in Psalms 9:9, which reads: “Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress.” Our loving God cares about us and is ready to bring us comfort if we allow him (1John 5:14). He also has made the provision of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise (Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55:11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your dear loved one? Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG
