Memorial visitation for Bobby Lee Weed 69, will be on Monday, March 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anniston Funeral Service Outreach Ministry in the Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Weed passed away on February 26, 2019 at St. Vincent's, St. Clair Hospital.

He graduated in 1969 from Charles R. Drew High School. He had worked at Lee Brass and Anniston Army Depot.

Survivors include his children: Frederick Weed (Rosemarie), Bryan Weed, Denise Elston (Dexter) and Anika McGee (Dennis, Jr.); grandchildren: Matthew, Amaris, Zaria, Dominique, Donovan, Derrian, Sania and Drayden; great granddaughter: Marley; brother: Steve Weed (Peggy); special friend, Vanessa Pickett, in-laws, other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommie, Sr. and Beatrice Sims Weed, wife, Minister Helen Jane Pearson Weed, brothers, Jimmie Weed, Tommie Weed, Jr. and Kenneth Fomby, Sr.
