Funeral service for Willie Nell Mallard 78, will be on Saturday, March 9, at 11 am at the Seventeenth Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jeffery E. Mills, officiating. Interment will follow in Anniston Memorial Gardens. Ms. Mallard passed away on February 22, 2019 at University of Birmingham Hospital. Ms. Mallard's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Survivors include her children: Julius Mallard, Vickie Mallard, Edward Mallard; 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; siblings: Moses (Flora) Mallard, Jr., Eugene Mallard, Sgt. Ret. Willie (Cynthia) Duncan, Charlie Mallard, Frank J. (Pearlie M) Mallard, Rev. Archie Mallard, Elizabeth Hoffler, Margaret Duncan, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mosed, Sr. and Bertha Mays Mallard, daughter, Mary Mallard, siblings, Goldstean, Williams, James and A.C. Mallard and Nancy Carter.
