To the family, I express my deepest condolences for the loss of your love one. In the Bible, Jehovah God expresses death as a "sting." (Psalms 83:18; 1 Corinthians 15:55,56) So this means that behind death, there is a painful hurt. He also knows what it is like to experience losing a love one as "he did not spare his own son but handed him over for us all." (Romans 8:32) But soon God will do something amazing. "All those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28,29) Jehovah will use his Son to bring back all our dead loved ones to life! What a joy that will be! There, God "will wipe out every tear from (our) eyes and death will be no more neither mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore."(Revelation 21:4) So yes, although experiencing the temporary sting of death, we will have the prospect of joy living on a paradise earth free of death forever! A wonderful website with more information on this subject is www.jw.org. This is where more Bible truths await us all. Please visit the website in hopes to add more comfort to your hearts. (2 Corinthians 1:3) Again, sorry for your loss.

My thoughts are with you and the family and how painful it is to lose a loved one. Please accept my deepest sympathy. May God's love and comfort be with you and the family. “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone that beholds the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him at the last day.” John 6:40 jw.org (Website for more encouragement.)

We're so sorry to hear you are suffering the loss of your dear loved one. May you find strength and some comfort in the words found in Psalms 9:9, which reads: “Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress.” Our loving God cares about us and is ready to bring us comfort if we allow him (1John 5:14). He also has made the provision of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise (Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55:11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your dear loved one? Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG

God strengthens us by giving us "the power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." Nahum 1:7; God is "a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of ["takes cares of"] those seeking refuge in him." Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)
