Alexander Mark Grier, 71, a native of New Bern died January 19, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

His Celebration of Life service was held Sunday, February 3, 2019 at City of Refuge Church, Las Vegas, NV

He is survived by his wife Marijorie Monica Grier; six sisters, Mamie Gardner and Rosalee Matlock both of Cleveland, OH, Willie Francina Grier Cary of North Carolina, Barbara Hall Gash, N. Las Vegas, NV, Dorothy Sullivan, Austin, TX and Ellaworth Louise Jones, Bells, TN.

May you find strength from the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
