Funeral service for Evalena Jenkins Cross 68, will be on Saturday, January 26, at 1 pm at the Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church where Rev. Issac Chappel, pastor, Pastor Neal Hodo, officiating.
Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. Mrs. Cross passed away on January 21, 2019 at UAB Hospital, Birmingham. Mrs. Cross's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Survivors include her children: Herman (Tangela) Cross, Sharon (Shederick) Lynch, Evon Cross, Brenda Cross, Maurice Cross;brother: William (Jessie) Jenkins; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; her conpanion: Bennie Tucker; in-laws, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Isabell Jenkins, husband, Herman Cross, Sr., infant Cross, siblings, Marie Whiteside, Robert and Terry Jenkins.
