Hyacinth "Cynthia Brown Richards, 80, of 627 Belltown Road, Havelock died Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina.
Friends may express condolences at the residence of Kenneth & Ivette Jones 147 Stonebridge Trail, Havelock. Viewing hours are 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM Wednesday at Oscar's Mortuary.
Her funeral service is 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Havelock Community Missionary Baptist Church 262 Hwy. 70 East Havelock. The interment will follow at the Bell Cemetery, Belltown Rd., Havelock.
She is survived by her daughter, Ivette Jones, Havelock and her son, Johnnie L. Richards, Jr. of Cary, NC; nine grandchildren.

What a loving God who cares about each one of us.
