As we only learned of Sis. Shirley Griffith's death today, we are grieved for this family. We met Sis Shirley as we pastored Trinity AME Zion Church New Bern, NC. She was a joy to know as we sat and shared the Word of God together.
We will miss Sis. Griffith, but we accept God's preparation for our inherence in Heaven. God Bless the Griffith and Mattocks Families.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know there may not be words that can express how you are feeling at this time, but Jehovah God knows. He knows all about your pain and the tears on your face. He knows how much you miss your loved one. Jehovah God tells us through his words the Bible that he cares for you.(1 Peter 5:7). He promised that one day pain and suffering will be no more. (Rev 21:4)~ R A

To BRO Gary and family:
Just reading about the loss of your loved one. Be still and know that HE is GOD and besides him, there is none other. God is our strong tower. He gives Peace in the Midst of storms. He will give you "perfect peace". From our family and the entire Piney Grove A.M.E. Zion Church family.~ Valery Frazier Kelley Havelock, NC
My sincere condolences for your family. I am so sorry for your loss. Remember that God promises at Rev. 21:4: And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. Remember God cares about you and he will never abandon you. Isaiah 41:10: Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you,
I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.~ C. Summers Fredericksburg, VA
My heartfelt condolences to your family on the passing of your sweet Mom, Shirley. I worked with Shirley at Budget Rent A Car in Elmhurst, Queens, in the 1980’s. We kept in touch through the years, through phone calls and cards. I always looked forward to talking with her. She was a woman of God, and I know she is sitting with Jesus, singing Hallelujah and smiling that gorgeous smile of hers. I will miss our talks, and her contagious laugh. It was an honor to know your Mom. ♥️🙏♥️~ Christine Barta-Gallagher Oxford, NY
