Theophus " Scooter Pen" White, Sr., 65, of 1130 Temples Point Rd., Havelock died Saturday, December 1, 2018 at SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House, Newport.

Viewing hours are 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM Thursday at Oscar's Mortuary.

The family visitation is 12:00 PM,  Friday, December 6, 2018  at Piney Grove AME Zion Church 1430 Temples Point Rd., Havelock followed by the service at 1:00 PM.  The interment is at Piney Grove AME Zion Church.

He is survived by his mother, Annie White of  Havelock; one son, Theophus White, Jr., and one daughter, Ny'Aziah White both of Havelock; two sisters, Eleanor Talley, Havelock and Patricia White of Durham.
